S-marks have been on the Swedish market since 1956. S-marks licorice is a super salty jelly candy with licorice flavor. The jelly is soft at the core and slightly hard around the edges, covered with a layer of licorice-flavored salt and sugar. The color of the jelly is deep black but its sugar salted surface goes to the overall impression that the color is gray. This candy is a favorite among many Swedish candy eaters who love super salty licorice. Candy People which produces these s-candy in different flavors and shapes has been operating since 1982 when its founder Joanis Masudi Youssef bought a candy store at Möllevången in Malmo in Sweden, in 2004 his son Jacob Youssef took over as CEO and today the company is led by Jacob's sister Anna Bebinno Youssef, a true family business for generations. The products are free from palm oil.
