What Is a Short-Date Product?
A short-date product is one where the best-before date is within the following window:
1–2 months until best-before date. The pouch format, flavour, and nicotine delivery are unaffected by proximity to the best-before date when stored correctly in an unopened can.
The best-before date is a manufacturer's quality recommendation based on room-temperature storage – not a safety expiry. An unopened can stored in a cool, dry place – or in the fridge – remains perfectly usable well beyond the printed date. We are transparent about the exact date on every product listing so you can make an informed decision before purchasing.
Is the Quality Affected?
No. The nicotine content, flavour compounds, and pouch format are not meaningfully affected by proximity to the best-before date on an unopened, correctly stored can. What the best-before date reflects is the manufacturer's guarantee of peak flavour intensity under standard storage conditions. A can that is two weeks from its best-before date, stored refrigerated, will perform identically to a can with six months remaining.

How to Read the Best-Before Date
All Swedish products use the European date format: DD/MM/YYYY. A can marked "15/04/2026" expires on the 15th of April 2026 – not the 4th of March (which would be the American MM/DD format). What brands appear in the short-date section?
Short-date stock varies continuously and depends on what we have approaching best-before at any given time. You may find ZYN, VELO, Killa, Pablo, LOOP and many others. Stock is not guaranteed – once it sells out it is removed from this section.
